From a simple outreach to a home filled with hope.
Sons of Manasseh Children’s Home was founded by the late Rev. Joseph Munywoki and his wife, Beatrice Kirigo Thuita. What began as a simple outreach in Dagoretti near Ndunyu slum — sharing the Gospel and a small meal with vulnerable children every Saturday — soon grew into something greater.
Many of the children they encountered were orphans, abandoned, or living in extreme poverty. A large number had lost parents to HIV/AIDS and were forced to drop out of school due to lack of basic needs.
The need for shelter, food, education, and protection became urgent. In response, Sons of Manasseh Children’s Home was born.
